Penta Real Estate has sold Bory Business Park project

Penta Real Estate has successfully completed the sale of Bory Business Park project to the Karimpol Group development company. The land with a total area of 60,000 m2 is located in the new Bory district in Bratislava and was sold together with a building permit. The project allows the construction of retail space with the possibility of combining showrooms, offices and storage. Both parties have agreed that the transaction value will not be disclosed.

“Since our long-term strategy is to focus mainly on the residential and office market, we have decided to sell the plot land intended for this type of project. We are very pleased to conclude this cooperation with a foreign investor who is planning to build commercial spaces combined with showrooms, offices and storage in this location. Bory district will thus receive another interesting amenities,” said Juraj Nevolník,  Managing Director at Penta Real Estate Slovakia.

Bory district

In the new city district Bory, there is already a shopping and entertainment centre – Bory Mall – and several other large retail buildings. Bory district will also include a New Generation Hospital, built by Penta Real Estate, which will be capable to provide healthcare for patients from all over Bratislava. Bory also include a residential district – Bory Bývanie, which will bring more than 1000 residential units, in its first four phases. Overall, a new modern city district with all the civic amenities, including a kindergarten is emerging. The transport infrastructure is already completely built including a connection to the D2 highway.

Penta Real Estate is launching an international architectural and urban design competition, the aim of which is to find a future solution and form of development of the area near the southern bank of the Danube river, in the area between Bratislava’s Old Bridge, the Apollo Bridge and the Harbor Bridge. The competition is open, three invited international architectural studios will also participate.

Penta continues significant investments

Penta has reported a net profit of €570 million for 2021. The group continues to invest significantly into its portfolio of companies with CAPEX totalling €525 million during 2021. Over the next five years, Penta is planning to invest a further €3 billion into both organic development and acquisitions within its existing investment platforms. At the end of 2021, the Group employed more than 41,000 people and paid a total of €496 million in income tax and other social contributions.

Masaryk’s highest point cost 600 million

The reinforced concrete skeleton of the two buildings we are constructing at Masaryk Railway Station in the centre of Prague has reached its highest point.
