Drumet is the largest steel wires, ropes and staple bands producer in Poland. Penta acquired Drumet from bankrupcy by winning a public tender, the transaction value was PLN 120 million. Penta re-defined product portfolio of Drumet by introducing more processed products and modernized the plant by further investments in its steel ropes' manufacturing facilities.
In June 2011, Penta sold 100% stake of Drumet Liny i Druty Sp.z o.o. to the strategic investor, WireCo World Group.
