EMC Instytut Medyczny S.A. is the largest hospital and outpatient facilities owner in the Polish private health care market. From a local company running a hospital in Wroclaw, the company developed into a network of health care centres expanding across Poland and abroad. Within the territory of Poland, EMC's portfolio now has 11 hospitals and 18 specialised outpatient clinics. EMC Instytut Medyczny is part of Penta Hospitals International, an international holding which operates dozens of hospitals and outpatient facilities throughout the Central Europe.
