Central European investment group Penta has begun the construction of a shopping and entertainment center in the Bory location between the Bratislava city quarters Lamač and Devínska Nová Ves. The construction will take place in two stages. The first one should be completed within two years. The total investment is to reach more than EUR 150 million.
The shopping center Bory Mall will meet the shopping needs and expectations of the citizens of the city quarters Devínska Nová Ves, Lamač, Dúbravka, but also customers from Záhorská Bystrica, Devín and adjacent Záhorie. “The family oriented center Bory Mall will bring a wide range of various stores and services, both known and new to Slovakia. Unique architectonic features and green areas in interior and exterior of the center will be a singleton,“ Jozef Oravkin, partner of the Penta investment group responsible for the Real Estate projects of the group, said.
The author of the architectonic design of the shopping and entertainment center Bory Mall is the studio of the Italian architect Massimiliano Fuksas.
The investment loan for the construction of the shopping center Bory Mall was provided by the consortium of the four banks: UniCredit, VÚB, ČSOB and HYPO-BANK Burgenland.
In the Bory location, where the center is to be built, infrastructure, roads and round crossings have already been constructed. The site is thus prepared for the construction of further stores. The first one already constructed in Bory was Metro Cash&Carry. In April 2013 another store was opened – the biggest and the most modern concept of Hornbach for construction and garden in Slovakia. Other stores currently in the stage of arranging permits necessary for construction include Decathlon and Merkury Market.
